ROGUE CREDIT UNION CLOSES Q2 2022 WITH CONTINUED GROWTH

 

 Medford, OR – Rogue Credit Union announced financial results for the second quarter of 2022. Rogue’s growth remained steady in key categories. Rogue’s total assets grew at an annualized rate of 8.89%, nearing $3.1 billion in assets.  The credit union experienced a strong Return on Assets of 1.43% and continues to experience membership growth, now serving over 192,000 members across Oregon and Idaho. 
Rogue Credit Union’s equity position continues to grow, as the credit union closed the quarter with a 9.30% net worth ratio, well above the “well-capitalized” regulatory requirement of 7.00%.

Effective April 1, 2022, the Rogue Credit Union Board of Directors named previous President, Matt Stephenson, the new President/CEO, following the retirement of long-time CEO Gene Pelham. Matt has been part of the credit union’s executive team for over 15 years, previously serving as COO, CFO and Executive Vice President. As only the 5th President/CEO in Rogue’s history, Rogue is excited to have a leader as invested in the credit union’s community and mission as Rogue is. The credit union continued to experience strong growth in the second quarter under his new leadership.
