Rogue Credit Union Appoints Marcus Wertz as Chief Lending Officer
Medford, OR — Rogue Credit Union recently announced the appointment of Marcus Wertz as its new Chief Lending Officer (CLO), a key executive role focused on the credit union’s lending strategy.
Wertz has more than two decades of experience in the credit union industry, with deep expertise in lending, operations and strategic leadership. Most recently, he served in senior executive roles at Greater Nevada Credit Union, where he led consumer, real estate and commercial lending initiatives, implemented major system enhancements and strengthened risk and credit practices.
In his role as Chief Lending Officer, Wertz will provide strategic leadership for Rogue’s consumer, mortgage and commercial lending teams. He will oversee loan origination, underwriting, servicing and portfolio management, helping ensure that Rogue’s lending programs remain competitive, responsible and aligned with members’ evolving needs.

Wertz holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Corban University. He is also a graduate of Western CUNA Management School, and he holds a CUNA Business School Certification. In his new role, Wertz will help the credit union expand access to lending solutions that help members buy homes, finance vehicles, grow businesses and reach important milestones.
