Can I pre-qualify with Rogue Credit Union?

What is a FICO score?

Credit bureau scores are often called "FICO scores" or “beacon scores”, because most credit bureau scores used in the U.S. are produced from software developed by Fair, Isaac and Company (FICO). FICO scores are provided to Rogue Credit Union by Equifax, a major credit reporting agency. That score is calculated by a mathematical equation that evaluates many types of information that are in your credit report. By comparing this information to the patterns in millions of past credit reports, the score identifies your level of future credit risk. You can obtain your own credit report at Rogue Credit Union just by spending a few minutes with a friendly Member Service Representative. Note that Rogue Credit Union uses industry variants of FICO that may differ somewhat from the scores available to consumers.

What is a Home Equity Loan?

A home equity loan is a loan secured against the available equity in your home. Often times there are tax benefits associated with this type of loan as well as lower interest rates. A home equity loan has a fixed term and borrowed amount allowing you access to a lump sum at one time. Home equity loans are ideal for large home improvement projects or other large purchases. A home equity line of credit gives you instant access to funds when you need them by creating a pre-approved loan available from you to draw from as needed. A home equity line of credit does not cost you anything unless you use it.

When do I get the funds on my new loan, how long does it take to close a loan?

We can typically close and fund your loans within 1-2 business days.

I’m hesitant about applying online. Is this site secure?

Yes, Rogue Credit Union uses the most current technology to make sure your online transactions are totally secure through a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) 128-bit encryption.

What should I do if my credit card is lost or stolen?

What is the difference between current balance and available balance?

Current balance is the amount that you owe, where available balance is the amount available for you to access and use. Your current balance is not necessarily your pay-off amount, as often times there are other finance charges not accessed.

Can I pay my Rogue loans online?

You can pay your Rogue loans online from any Rogue Credit Union checking or savings account. Login to online banking and select to transfer the funds into your loan account.

How can I request a Rogue Visa Card Credit increase?

You can request a limit increase over the phone or in a branch, just give us a call at 541.858.7328

Do I have to be a member of Rogue Credit Union to get a loan?

You do not need to be a member to apply for a loan, but prior to a loan being funded you will need to become a member. Membership is easy and has lots of benefits, learn more here.

Does Rogue offer overdraft protection for my checking account?

Can I skip a payment if I’m experiencing a financial hardship?

If you’re experiencing a financial hardship one of the best things you can do is communicate with us.  We want to help you get through these situations, and offer an array of options to help you keep the things that you have worked so hard for, including the option to defer a payment.
