How does bidding work?

Our partner, cuAuctions uses progressive bidding. With progressive bidding, the highest bid amount is public knowledge, and you can increase your bid in response to other bidders. You also have the option to use proxy bidding. This means you can enter the highest amount you're willing to bid. If another bidder enters an amount higher than your current bid, your bid will gradually be increased up to the maximum that you set. You will also be alerted via email when you've been outbid so you can increase your bid amount.

The auction ends at the stated auction close time, unless active bids are still coming. The auction will automatically extend in 15-minute increments as long as active bidding is taking place.

The highest bidder at the end of an auction is obligated to purchase the vehicle in accordance to the auction payment terms.

When can I test drive a vehicle?

Vehicles are generally available for a test drive Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm.

How is this different than eBay® or Yahoo® Auctions?

Vehicles on our Vehicle Auctions pages are owned by Rogue Credit Union. You can trust us to make full disclosure about the vehicle you buy, and you can be confident that we will work with you to make the transaction smooth.

Why do I have to register to bid?

Registering to bid or sell is free. There's no obligation. Rogue requires some information from you in order to finalize a vehicle transaction, should you win the bidding. Once you've registered, it takes a few moments to create your account and update our database with your information. The delay is usually less than five minutes. To complete your registration, simply click the activate link in the confirmation email you receive; this will open your account. Once you've reached this point, you're ready to bid.

What happens to my personal information?

We are passionate about maintaining your privacy. Your personal information is kept strictly confidential following our privacy policy.

Can I see the vehicle before I bid?

Of course. If the pictures shown on Vehicle Auctions don't provide you with enough information, you can contact Rogue Credit Union online or by phone at 541.622.7318 or 800.856.7328 ext. 7318 to schedule a test drive. The telephone number for scheduling an appointment is also shown next to the vehicle.

How do I arrange for payment after placing a winning bid?

Payment arrangements must be made within 2 business days of auction close. A deposit of $500 is required within 2 business days of auction close, with the remaining balance to be paid within 5 business days. All payments must be in the form of guaranteed funds.
