Meet Your Team
Length of Employment at Rogue: 4 years and 3 months
Hometown: Portland, OR
About Me: I’m a husband, father of 2, avid trail runner, and overall mountain enthusiast. I love spending as much time as I possibly can outside enjoying the snow, trail and water available to us in this amazing region.
What is the best part about working at Rogue?
The best part of working at Rogue is witnessing firsthand our Leadership’s commitment to doing the right thing for our members every time there is a decision to be made. Seeing management practice these values day in and day out sets the tone for the rest of the organization.
Before working at Rogue, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
Years ago, before becoming a credit union professional, I owned a small guitar store where I spent most of my days hanging out with my friends and playing music, while selling the occasional guitar or bass guitar.
What are your top three life highlights?
The birth of my daughter, the birth of my son, and finishing my first ultra-marathon.
What are your hopes for the credit union movement?
My primary hope for the credit union movement is that our members continue to learn and realize the value of participation in a financial co-op. Credit unions represent an opportunity for people to come together and share resources for the betterment of their fellow co-op members. Through this model, we can help each other, help our communities, and ensure our money stays local rather than being used to drive returns for an anonymous investor somewhere.
