What is the best part about working at Rogue?
The best part of working at Rogue is the people. They are the heart and soul of the organization.
Before working at Rogue, what was the most unusual or interesting job you've ever had?
I was general manager of a truck/auto repair and accident recovery facility. We repaired and recovered anything that drove down the road – from motorcycles to big rig trucks. The big truck accidents always had a cargo component and finding ways to recover and preserve the shipments could be challenging.
How do you define success?
In training, success is when the person struggling in the classroom finally “gets it”. When we have found a way to make a challenging topic clear.
Motto or personal mantra?
Never allow yourself to be in a position where your integrity could be questioned.
How has Rogue helped you in your career development?
I started and stopped my college education in the first 6 months after high school. I took a class here or there, or attended certifications, but I had pretty much given up on the idea of completing my degree. It was too late. Everyone at Rogue has such a passion for continuing education, I decided to give it one more try. 2.5 years later I had completed my Bachelor’s Degree and have renewed my personal passion for lifelong learning.
