How Rogue Gives Back to the Communities We Serve

The holiday season is such a special time of the year.  Here at Rogue, we are so happy to have so many wonderful team members that want to support their communities throughout the year especially during the holiday season. One of the best things about being a member, as well as team member, at Rogue is the adherence to our Guiding Values.  Part of being in a cooperative is giving back to our community, and one of Rogue’s Guiding Values is that Community Involvement is Essential.

We are fortunate to partner with so many organizations that share in many of the principles that we believe in here at Rogue.

  • Youth
  • Families
  • Education
  • Community Sustainability

A few of our favorite winter events that we’re proud to support in the communities we serve include:

The Umpqua Valley Festival of Lights

This festive holiday event in Roseburg is one of our favorites!  As a sponsor of the Festival, Rogue has the opportunity to volunteer one night during the festival.  It is so fun to welcome and greet the Douglas County community as they come to one of the best shows of the year!  The best part is, Wednesday, December 19th from 5:30-9:00PM, Rogue members receive free admission to see the beautiful lights!

The Klamath Falls Snowflake Festival

Christmas through the Eyes of a Child is this year’s theme at the largest Winter Festival in Oregon. This nearly 35-year-old festival unites Klamath County through the spirit of the season. Rogue and our Klamath Falls team is proud to support this event by participating in the parade, and also hosting a Cocoa with Santa event at our branch from 3:00-5:00PM on Saturday, December 15th!

Nature’s Coastal Holiday

Another holiday show we are proud to be a part of is this beautiful light show in Brookings.  Azalea Park is transformed into a magically wonderland.  Our South Coast teams help to transform the park trails into a magical wonderland of lights.  Beginning in 1997, this event draws over 25,000 people a year to join in the holiday spirit.  Our team not only helps to set up this show but can be seen volunteering selling tickets and beverages to keep the attendees warm.
