Giving Local: 2015 in Review

Rogue Credit Union was founded in 1956 by a group of teachers who knew that together, they were stronger. Today, Rogue still operates on those principles, and is committed to creating a stronger community for us all. We take pride in our involvement in the communities we serve, standing behind our core values of Living, Giving, and Supporting Local.

In 2015, Rogue was able to donate time and money to organizations and individuals that have a direct, positive impact on our communities. At Rogue, our strong community focus is applied to everything we are involved in through community events, supporting local vendors, financial education, donations, sponsorships, and scholarships. Last year Rogue donated over $140,000 back to the community in donations and sponsorships, and over $18,000 in scholarships. We were involved in over 35 community events, with the most notable being Movies in the Park, Medford Cruise, Kruise of Klamath, Raining Cats and Dogs, Duck Derby, American Music Festival, Nature’s Coastal Holiday, and Roseburg’s Veterans Day Parade. Rogue staff members volunteered over 10,000 hours over the year, proving that together, we really can make a difference.

At Rogue, we love Southern Oregon and are proud to be actively engaged in our local community, investing time and money in the places we call home. With 60 years of strong community support and focus, we are thrilled to be your local credit union, making a positive difference in the communities we live and work.

Giving Local…it’s a Rogue thing!
